Offering natural hot springs, free Wi-Fi and an in-house restaurant, this farmhouse hotel is in Iceland’s wild Westfjords. Súdavík village is within a 1-hour drive. The hotel is positioned in a very nice location in the middle of nowhere. It was very quite and calm place. There were several indoor and outdoor hot pools and they were really cool. Both dinner and breakfast were perfect! There were horses nearby our room and it was really nice interact with them.

Set on Flatey Island in the Breidafjördur Bay, this hotel is a 5-minute walk from the Baldur Ferry Terminal that departs from Stykkishólmur. It was a great place to stay on the quiet island.

Situated on the beachfront in Holt, Holt Inn has a garden. Featuring a shared lounge, this property also provides guests with a children's playground. The accommodation offers free WiFi. What a nice place in the middle of nowhere. The check-in was super easy, though we have been a little late. Maybe from outside the building does not look that nice, baut inside ist is fine and cosy. I think for a short stay of some days the room size is absolutely sufficient. We enjoyed the great view out of the windows, perfect start for the day. Absolutely again!

We were the only guests as the tourist season had just started, location is rural and very quiet, perfect for enjoying silence and the gorgeous night sky. There’s a heated outdoor swimming pool next door and Hólmavík is about 25min away.
