I maybe over exaggerating here but after staying at a really bad hotel, coming into Marison Hotel was heavenly. Very clean, spacious, luxurious and full blast of airconditioning. It also helped that I got a penthouse room. There was also a view of the volcano from the balcony.

Hotel Inigo had fast wifi. All codes can connect to maximum of 5 gadgets. Confirming the booking was easy via phone call. Checking-in was easy. We arrived at 3pm and all rooms were ready. The hot water was really hot and AC was cold enough. The Nespresso in the room satisfied our coffee cravings. There was a pitcher in the room if we needed water, that can be refilled in the floor.

Our favorite overnight stop over on the way to Sorsogon.
Our favorite overnight stop over on the way to Sorsogon. Malls, groceries and the Mayon activities are just what we always wanted. Internet and banks are almost anywhere, if there is a need of emergency business needs.

Skyline is one great place to go to see Mt. Mayon but unfortunately it was raining hard when we got up there, the volcano is not visible.
Sumlang lake is a good place to go as the volcano is it’s backdrop.
There’s a lot of big malls if you’re into shopping.
Restaurants and hospitals abound in every location.
Transportation is no problem at all as you can call cabs via phone or online. Public jeepneys can get you from point A to point B.

Check the weather map so that you increase your chances of getting a full view of Mayon Volcano. Do consider booking properties outside Legaspi (Daraga) The tourists attractions are all near Daraga. (less traffic), however all the nice places to eat are in Legaspi.

The vibe is really laid back so we were able to relax. Guests should be equipped to deal with the weather. The Mayon can be viewed everywhere! Try the Hoyop hoyopan cave, and their spicy pinangat. Pasalubong are abaca bags, sili keychains, pili nut near the old riles (train tracks).

My first time in Legazpi was great because we had planned a food tour with GuidetothePhilippines.ph.com. Other than that we had not plan. We were able to walk around and even take a jeepney. People are friendly and helpful. The view of Mt. Mayon on a clear day is unbeatable and breathtaking.

Nice enough city on the bay with the stunning perfect cone of the Mayon volcano as a backdrop.
Needs improvement - the new SM is a start - but needs infrastructure investment big time. International airport for Bicol region - lots of places to visit and explore.
Only stayed here a day was great that they let us check in early as our flight arrived 6am we were very tired from traveling. We liked the breakfast and the rooftop view that you can see volcano. Embarcadero legazpi is 5-10 minute drive or so and you can get a good view from there. If you are interested in seeing the volcano make sure to wake up early because it gets cloudy in the afternoon. The place was very quite and well decorated. I believe we were the only travelers there.
The staff were great!
The staff made us feel very welcomed and made us feel very welcomed and safe. The hotel itself is beautiful and the room was really nice! We told them it was our honeymoon and they gave us a complimentary cake to say congratulations and we thought it was the sweetest thing!
They also had complimentary buffet breakfast with amazing Filipino food.
I loved the shampoo, conditioner, and other hospitality items they provided.
We spent 3 nights here on family vacation and I must say that everything was good. The location of the hotel is quite close to SM Legazpi and the famous carinderia in town, which is called JOLLIKOD (SA LIKOD NG JOLLIBEE) Fast internet, cable TV, complete bath towels, and may toilet paper also. Mabilis lumamig yung AC. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others having a vacation, business trip, etc.
My stay at Marison Hotel in Bicol was simply amazing. The food is topnotch and offers great value for money. With multiple 5-star quality restaurants on site, and an excellent breakfast buffet spread, I was spoiled for choice. The staff were incredibly welcoming and warm. Highly recommend this gem of a hotel!
Breakfast was great. Room was great. Shower and bathroom great. Bed was great. AC was great. Internet was good. TV was great. Stayed at end of hall - no noise. Enjoyed this hotel best of all... Friday night buffet and live music !!! Wonderful... Security was top notch !!! Near to everything !!!!
In all our travels both international and local, I'd say Marison Hotel is one of the best one we ever stayed. From staff to cleanliness to amenities they both exceeded out expectations. Will recommend and stay again whenever we are in Bicol.
I love that the place its very Homey. The rooms and bathrooms are very clean which i liked most. The Host and the Owner were so Nice and Friendly. Definitely, i will book their Guesthouse again if we visit Legazpi. Highly recommended
We stayed for work. They have a high speed internet connection which worked best for us since we were working while in Legazpi. Near Biggs Diner which is 24 hours open and any other establishments.
Good location, excellent stuff, delicious restaurant at lobby, no rooftop, but you can observe Mayon volcano from the hotel's last floor in order to decide whether you should take a tour or not.
Staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel and room are clean. Good clean bathroom with hot shower and bidet. Rates are good for those who are on a budget.
