The location of this hotel to the train station and cruise port were excellent. Both were easily walkable. It is also centrally located to shops and restaurants. While this hotel has an elevator, some rooms still have steps to navigate. Inquire if an individual room has steps, If carrying big pieces of luggage is an issue. Everything about this hotel was fantastic, especially the kind and knowledgeable reception staff. They were great at orienting us to all of the special perks (free mini-bar in the room, free hot drinks, pastries and fruits in the lobby) as well as providing detailed written instructions for how to get to the bus station upon departure. They made us a dinner reservation and were kind and available whenever we needed help (as when our bus was 3 hours delayed!). The hotel itself is clean and new, with excellent shower, balcony with a view and comfy beds. The saunas were a wonderful retreat when it rained. Location can’t be beat and allowed for an early morning quick dip in the sea, just across the pedestrian walk.

We were there in early July. It would have been better to go in August and let the water have a few more weeks to warm up. The water temperature was about 18 degrees when we were there, and that's a bit cold for me.
The town is lovely and the people are quite friendly. And we ate well at a couple of nice places.

Warnemunde is a very nice place with a lot of nice restaurants and really cosy. During winter time its also very quiet and relaxed. Summertime and Easter there are much more people, but also very nice during the warm period of the year and nice beach.
Warnemunde is the perfect location if you want to visit the very nice Christmas Market in Rostock.

Warnemünde is a gorgeous small city.
Warnemünde is a gorgeous small city. It's relaxed and very clean. We found it perfect for visiting with our small children. There's a nice park, the beach, the Nivea indoor pool and the Warnefornien (LadenCafé), where they serve the yummiest coffee in town. (Actually, it's the only spot we found to serve high-quality and strong coffee, so skip the other cafés and go there right away ;-)...) We also visited Rostock Zoo which is beautiful.

Warnemunde is an attractive port on the Ost See.
Warnemunde is an attractive port on the Ost See. It has long wide, sandy beaches and seems to be very popular in summer. We stayed as we were departing on a cruise from the port. It is accessible by train from Rostock or Berlin etc. There are numerous cafes, restaurants, and shops for tourists to enjoy. It is a very pleasant little village to wander around.

Loved this little Fishing Village, a nice surprise.
Loved this little Fishing Village, a nice surprise. Centrally located, Beautiful boutique shops, lots dining. Gorgeous beach, quaint cottages. Walking distance to Cruise ship terminal and train station and to all attractions.
I recently stayed at Appartementhaus Strandnähe and it was fantastic. The apartment was impeccably clean and well-equipped with all necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The reception staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, allowing us to check in early and check out late. This flexibility made our stay even more convenient and enjoyable. I highly recommend Appartementhaus Strandnähe to anyone looking for a great place to stay; I would definitely return for another visit.
Good location, one block off the beach promenade and across the street from the Kurpark and the public underground parking garage. We booked a room facing the sea and had good views even though the hotel is not directly on the boardwalk. The windows opened to let the sea breeze in and the room felt bright and airy with a good layout and use of space. The breakfast buffet was very good for a small hotel and the staff was friendly.
The proximity to the beach, the hotel is situated infront of the sand dunes next to the lighthouse so if you are looking for a premium location, this is the first choice.
The modern interior design, very nicely renovated
We had partial sea view but that was the best view I think because we were overlooking the entire beach promenade and the beach. The sunset was stunning to watch from the bed.
Everything. The suite is Very clean, modern and comfortable. Check-in & check-out was smooth. there is great wifi, parking. the suite had space for our bikes and space to have our son and his wife visit for dinner. the bed was very comfortable and the bedding was perfect.
great shower & bathroom. the location is very quiet and only 5 min drive to Warnemunde.
we will stay again when we return.

This hostel is comfortable, clean, and has tons of stuff to do that brings everybody together. I was there to work and explore, and I really enjoyed being able to grab a glass of wine in the evenings and write comfortably in the common area. It was also great to have two grocery stores very nearby, and be able to walk 10-15 minutes to reach all the action in Warnemünde.
Very cool hostel. Lots of nice facilities like shared kitchen, bar, good communal area, games room. There is a sauna too but we didn't get to try it as it was full when we wanted to use it. Good location in Warnemunde walking distance to alter Strom, beach, supermarkets, the train station etc. Let us park our motorcycle opposite. Rooms were comfortable.
The hotel seems to be keen on sustainability: no spa slippers, no tissues, one soap instead of shampoo, conditioner and shower gel, no other complementary things in the bathroom. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast super yummy. The beach is right outside the main entrance.
I liked:
1) the location of the hotel
2) cozy and well designed all areas
3) possibility to rent the bikes
4) wonderful and not crowded spa and pool
5) well equipped kitchen
6) very kind Guest relation stuff
7) green fields with animals were just near to the hotel
It was very clean and also the area was amazing close to everything
The staff was great and helpful everything went smoothly
We really enjoyed it and everytime if i wanted to visit warnemunde i will book again with them
And recommend it to everyone
Thanks 😊
The hotel staff were very welcoming. The bed was very comfortable and the room clean. I also really enjoyed the short walk to the ocean. I found the whole setting very peaceful and quiet.
Nice updated rooms, excellent shower and screens on the window. Excellent breakfast included. We had dinner at their sister hotel, Godewind, nice meal and excellent presentation.
Breakfast was good...the coffee could have been better. The parking right by the hotel with the beach right there was great. The personal were very hospitable and flexible.
